This information is for inland single family residential properties in the City of Sturgeon Bay.  

All data is pulled from the Door County Board of Realtors (DCBR) Multiple Listing Service (MLS).   

 

Here are the five year trends:

 

The average sold price increased from $323,000 in 2024 to $340,000 in 2025.  That is an increase of 40% in 5 years.

 

The average sold price per square foot increased from $189 to $205.

 

It took an average of 31 days to get an accepted offer.  It took an average of 78 days from date of listing to date of closing.

 

The number of new listings remained relatively stable at 96, well below the recent high of 114 in 2023.

 

90% of listings sold and sold for an average of 95% of final listing price.

The “Right to Rent” law took place in 2017.  The first stimulus checks were mailed in April of 2020.  This created a perfect storm that still exists to this day.
